I spent the first part of my childhood living in the Florida Keys. Being immersed in this culture helped me to refine my ability to see art where most people could not. Around the age of twelve we moved to Boca Raton, Florida when I began using my first real camera which was a Canon AE1. I experimented with doing double exposure shots even back then. During the summer when I turned 13, I went to a photography school in San Antonio, Texas. As I grew up, I lived in several different states to include Colorado, Illinois, New Hampshire and Maryland. While photography took a backseat during this time, it was always something that interested me.
Approximately a year ago I purchased the camera that I am using now which is a Canon 50D. With the purchase of this camera came a mission to make photography my life. This brings us to this blog. Because of this renewed interest, I have studied many different types of photography and dabbled in most of the areas of photography which you will eventually see on this blog. Ultimately, I want to upgrade my camera to the Canon Mark IV and have the Canon 50D as my secondary camera.
I enjoy taking pictures of scenery, animals, and different random images. While some people would try to apply different labels to my photos, I just take pictures of whatever I see that interests me. You will see each of these types of images over time in this blog. Most all of my interests surround my love of photography in some way which includes, computers, hiking, and most importantly photography.
As I previously stated, I purchased my current camera approximately a year ago. While I was waiting for the camera to arrive, I began to look on the internet for different photographers as well as photography styles. My searching took me to several websites that heightened my interest in the HDR aspect of photography. Because of my interest in computers, I was able to teach myself how to use Photoshop as well as the accompanying programs to create the pictures you will be seeing.
I hope you enjoy my photos as much as I enjoy sharing them with you.
