Apparently this scene is from an actual event where a WWII Nazi U-boat attacked and then while the boat was sinking the Germans stopped and took photographs. You can read more about it here. In my opinion this photograph really illustrates…  This was taken on 9-10-11 the day before the 9/11 ten year anniversary. I didn’t realize it at the time, but as I was editing this photo I realized just how empty the streets were. I think this is the one place were more people and cars (cabs) in the photo help make the shot….  This was one of the first photos I took on my trip to New York City last month. The skyline from Brooklyn is amazing! I must have taken a hundred shots the Brooklyn and Manhattan bridges. I started to walk the Brooklyn Bridge, but soon noticed it was under construction.
