I took this photo of the reflection of Cathedral Rocks on my second day in Yosemite National Park. The one thing I can tell you about this photo is, I sure am glad I didn’t come across this on my first day in the park. The first day I was there, I was acting like my hiking boots were $500.00 handmade Italian loafers. I never would have gotten close enough to frame the shot this way. But by the second day, I had no qualms about walking through 30 yards of mud to get to the edge of this pond. Yosemite Valley is truly a photographer dream. Everywhere you turn you can see the most amazing landscape. I was getting the most spectacular shots, it almost made me feel as if I were cheating. You don’t have to drive or hike for hours, or even leave your car to find scenery like this. It’s everywhere!
