This photograph was taken from the top of the Prudential Building in Boston, Massachusetts. The observatory from the top of the building is normally a 360 degree view, but on the night that I was there, they had half of the floor closed off for a private party which limited my options. You can correct me if I am wrong, but I believe the building in the foreground is another tower for the Prudential Center. I did discover a neat trick while taking these pictures which I am going to share as my first blog tip.
My first photo tip: I found the best way to get rid of reflections was to take my jacket and place it over my camera and hold it up against the window. I found that this removed any interference with background lighting and reflections when you are taking pictures with a very long exposure.
